Mt. Province, Philippines – Built 2000 years ago, Banaue Rice Terraces in Ifugao is one of the Rice Terraces of the Philippine Cordillera, the first ever landscape to be included in the UNESCO World Heritage Site list. Thus, a right to claim that it is indeed the world’s eight wonder of nature. Backtracking its history, the Rice Terraces is one of the living monuments that shows no evidence of having been influenced by colonial cultures.
