Ooops. I haven’t blogged the dream right away. It was my mistake. I’m still recalling right now the images but it seems the dream is not vivid. I remember survival. I remember hospital. Though I wonder if those were the images how come I couldn’t narrate the entire story. It should be one of the action-packed dreams I had.

Well, later is another dream. Let’s see.

I was not able to take note of my dream that night. Maybe because I only slept for four hours and it occurred 4AM to 8AM. So my hypothesis is that I am so tired or at that rate, processing time is busy. No output yet.

But the moment I wake up, it’s time to fulfill one of my dreams.

Ok. It’s late. But I can still recall my dream. I scribbled keywords so I won’t forget.

It’s about the Pinoy Big Brother, the next regular season actually. The not-so-nice about this particular scene is that once again, I am still part of the audience and not as a housemate. I think it’s the Big Night for PBB 4 and the setting is outside Big Brother’s House. The event was held in an open ground.

They’re introducing the final four. However, the twist of this season is that one of the final four housemates is the accomplice of Kuya in the entire season. Based on the images, he appeared that he and another housemate became so emotionally attached to each other. The lady actually won as the season’s Big Winner. She looked like Gaby dela Merced and DJ Dela Mar combined.

Then, after witnessing the event, I went to a place. Though consciously I was not sure where I am heading to but I just let my subconscious go wherever he wants to go. Then I came across with a construction of the major street. It looks like they’re building another sky train or highway. The foundations are so massive and so tall. The street is not passable by vehicles.

And there I went to Mini-stop.

Well, dreaming of PBB is dreaming of PBB. Self-explanatory.

Construction signifies growth and ambition and renewed confidence. It also suggests the need to work on myself which happens to be true. The next days after January 7 proved it.

Oh this is my first dream of the year that is no coherent storyline. The images are so random that I can’t find a connection among them.

Here are some images that I remember:

Plurk timeline – It was zoomed out that I can’t recognize a single username
Military/ROTC training – An officer commanding three cadets. But when one of the latter can’t do what is asked, I was pulled from the bench and filed in to be an example.
Event – There’s an event being handled by the corp and we’re looking for a familiar female orgmate. Why? Because the guests of this event are (dirty) old men and they’re arriving

To dream the Internet signifies my need to connect and communicate with a larger network of people. Plurk is the clue. Yes, I’ve been plurking everyday and maybe the significant action that I’ve done last night was to unfollow some people. (ninja)

Military suggests rigid authority and emotional repression. Woah.

I still don’t get it.

So it’s really ‘back-to-school’ mode again.

I was running from one building to this building, probably a modern x-storey residence hall or a building-of-tambayans. That time, I was expecting a lot of bags occupying the room. So it means that a group, preferably an organization, is renting the space so we can leave our stuff as we go to other buildings. But when I came at that room, the door was unlocked and the lights are off. Almost everyone has gotten their things except me and one or two orgmate.

I went outside and looked for the one who’s holding the key. It was Ma’m Riza. Her husband and my friend, Jordan is already at the room. So my conscious guessed that they owned the space. I thanked them before I left.

Apparently, the setting is not inside the UP campus. I was heading now to one of the De La Salle’s hall. Not really sure if that building really exists in real world. I remembered a time where I took a stairway. It was a long and high climb. There’s a lot of students blocking parts of it.

Then I was searching for some documents and I knew where it was located. The maze-like building seems like being renovated when suddenly I felt the entire building popped out and flew up to the skies. Very weird. District 9 thing. And I heard that the building is to be relocated at the main campus. And yeah, now I knew, I was in Greenhills and we’re now heading to Taft. What a technology this school has.

Just right after we landed, I’ve seen an adult at a parking lot complaining about what happened because his car got busted due to the debris of the moving building. LOL. I went to a lecture room of the another building of the university. I was not sure if it’s Ninoy’s. Inside the lecture room are my classmates and Resly, my high school best buddy and I asked him to hand me his homework. It was an essay-type assignment and I just needed to know what the question is. When everyone has written their answers at sheets of yellow paper, I’ve jotted mine at a grade school paper.

And now for the meanings and interpretations.

Maybe it’s school time once again that’s why I’ve dreamed of campuses. Sometimes or most of the times, I came late at my class. That’s why I’ve seen myself at my dream running against time. But why De La Salle? I haven’t met a friend there for the past month.

Dreaming that I run alone suggests that I will advance to a higher position and surpass your friends in the race for wealth. Woot! So, does it mean that the three familiar faces from this dream are the key persons to that success? Nice. But I haven’t talked to them for some time but have poked them at Facebook, though.

Paper signifies the need to express myself through writing or art. Oh…. It also suggests that I need to work on being more communicative.

More communicative??? Hmmm… with someone? Hehe.

The truth is I don’t have a dream. I haven’t been asleep.

Though what I’ve been doing and the dreams themselves are kinda connected with Avatar 3D, the movie I watched earlier.

We were asked by our Pyschology 101 teacher to discuss personal interpretation of the meanings behind one’s dreams and I believe until today that every dream is a collection of random images from the minute activities of neurons while we’re sleeping. It’s our unconscious that patches these images to one or more stories or possibly none. There are times that subconscious overtakes and controls such stories.

And earlier this morning, I woke up from a different dream. Perhaps, certain neurons still contain images of Ampatuans, I Love You, Goodbye and more.

The dream sequence started when missiles were launched from military type helicopters. They are headed to our direction. I was with Cheche Lazaro, Angelica Panganiban and Derek Ramsay, and other folks from an event, maybe a gathering. When we’re finally surrounded, Korean-look soldiers went down from the chopper and took us as their captives.

The next scene, I was with other hostages but this time without the three celebrities. And then some were selected to play a hitting-the-target game. Of course everyone was expecting who ever was selected had the chance to die at that game. I dunno what happened next.

Just when I thought it’s the right time to sneak out, I escaped from their hideout. I ran and it seemed they didn’t follow me. And then I found this resort afar. I had to cross a deserted land and to passed a tornado. Luckily, I managed not to be sucked in by the twister.

I broke in to the resort and found some media men and they interviewed me.

That’s it.

As for the meanings…

Captivity indicates something that I am refusing to acknowledge or something that I am in denial about. Explosion suggests repressed anger which the unconscious wants me to pay attention. Having a celebrity repesents my pursuit for pleasure. Ahay! It also represents my beliefs and understanding about him or her. In this particular dream, Cheche Lazaro but hmmm, the couple Angelica and Derek?

Tornado suggests extreme emotional outbursts and temper tantrums. Weh?

And journalists in my dream tells me that I am making a conscious observation of my life. Yay!

Once again, I remembered my dream. But it’s creepy.

I am hunting vampires (or maybe aswang creatures). A personal mission I guess. Although I’m unsure if I’m doing it alone because someone’s telling me what to do next. I didn’t see my sidekick in the entire dream but he looks like my master. Maybe he’s already a ghost ala jedi master.

The first scene of the vampire sequence is when I caught this lady vampire from a ball who resembled Bill Compton’s maker in True Blood. Unlike the popular vampires nowadays, she didn’t have the strength. She seems like a human only with fangs. I took a broken mirror and acted like I wanted to cut off her head.

She used her glamour against me and told me that killing her won’t stop them. And then, flashbacks. What she meant was I have vampire friends. Familiar faces and yes they are my friends in real life.

The last setting was a flashback on the school grounds of my elementary school, a Catholic school. Everyone’s receiving a chocolate candy from our canteen given by someone. Maybe, that’s when it all started.

I don’t know!

But here are some clues and meanings behind my dreams.

Given that the setting was from a night gala, perhaps I still contain the male star of the night feeling I had the last time I attended a formal event. With vampires, I don’t know. Maybe, I miss watching True Blood. Elementary school flashback may come from the recent discussion with elementary classmates regarding reunion. Chocolate candy is perhaps the purple Hershey’s kisses that I macro shot.

According to the dream dictionary, vampires symbolize seduction and sensuality (ahay!). It can also be fear and death. It could also be a person I’m mingling with right now even though I know that this person is bad for me, I’m still on her or him. Candy also represents indulgence, sensuality and/or forbidden pleasure. (Ahay!)

A night gala however suggests a positive outlook in life while dreaming a childhood school is in ruins suggests that I might be dwelling on some unresolved childhood issue.

By the way, my version of vampires do not sparkle.

I’m all set to start my written project 365 (and there’s a photoblog project 365). That is to blog my daily, er nightly, dreams. Unfortunately, even though I’ve been successful in retrieving some scenes from my dreams for the past nights, I was not able to recall any single detail from my dream today.

So, instead, I’m sharing with you my “dream”, not just today, but like forever – a girlfriend.
