Hi Samieboi,

Thanks for the reply! Points are taken.

The name Lola Techie is misleading. (And I guess even dictionaries say something about techie.) It was only today that I learned it is to be pronounced as Tet-chi, as in Tetchie Agbayani.

I got the 'Install agad' message. No problems with that.

Of course, if you associate the name techie to 'tekkie' persons, you would expect more 'geek-ness' and in this case, more Lola Techie's knowledge in technology. BayanDSL posted her five accounts in networking sites so it's understandable that the audience expects more of her personality that BayanDSL stuff. Managing five accounts --- she must be really a techie gal then.

But again, my whole point is that Lola Tetchi failed me on my 'fantasy' so I unfollowed her. But it does not mean I don't like her or implies that BayanDSL ad is crap. If she's not that tekkie, then having Plurk, Facebook, Multiply, Twitter and the like, defines Lola Tetchi as "sociable". She might not be techie but she is someone that I need in my Mafia. (I haven't removed her as a Facebook friend. Lolz.)

I'm sorry if I have certain standards on my Plurk friends.

Cheers!

Dear,

I don't think that the Lola Techie (pronounced as Tet-chi) was made to portray the role that you would have wished they packaged her for.

The Bayantel commercial communication was clear-- madali ang kumonek sa internet (pati na rin ang matuto mag internet in the process) that even grandparents ay kayang kaya mag internet.

Let's not be constrained to the name as this is something used for more recall in advertising and marketing.

Though the spamming part is kind of not good.

cheers!
