My second chance to fame was entirely different from my first PBB quest. I didn’t have to queue in as early as 7 AM and ended up nothing after 9 hours. I was scheduled at 10am this time thus a slot was reserved by such appointment. Under the shade of tent and concert hall, I was not worry about skin cancer. And unlike Feb 27 audition, I was set to be scrutinized by Direk Dyogi and other judges.

An hour after I set foot to the thin and short line, I obtained my number, my passport, which I hadn’t achieve last time. The event was organized. ‘Bakit ngaun lang nila naisip ‘to? Hehe. Out of boredom while serving the 9,287 audition takers before me, I already had computed the span of minutes from the time a batch of 10 hopefuls entered the interrogation part to the moment they exit. It was only 6 minutes! Approximately 36 seconds of fame per hopeful. Parang dumaan lang talaga sila.

And then we noticed at that moment from this batch of ‘poked’ hopefuls exited, only one first screening passer is chosen at the average. And all of those who waited outside witnessed the ‘katayan’, ’sibakan’ and instant eviction! And to add to my anxiety, I could almost feel the sadness and happiness of two walks of life. And suddenly, we heard ‘Saklolo! Tulungan nyo ako!’ Haha. It was one of the audition takers acting her piece.

Lunchbreak. 500+ presentors more before my turn. We were allowed to buy ‘pantawid gutom’ outside which I hadn’t done last audition. I went inside The Loop where the first screening passers hang out.

Here are some skindeep descriptions of them

  1. Simple, They didn’t overdress. (Good thing I opted to be that way!)
  2. Guys are tall. No tisoys at feeling ’tisays’. (‘Kasi wag na mag foundation ung iba.)
  3. Hairstyle doesn’t say more. Kalbo has more x factor. Except for one passer, color didn’t attract the judges.
  4. Sad to say, the girls are not Anne Curtis or Kristine Hermosa type of beauty. There’s one girl na sobrang na-attract ako. She’s morena. Balingkinitan. Angel Aquino type. And resembles M.S. Haha. Of course, PBB is not beauty contest. (And for that lady in green, mag-te-text na ako para sa iyo!)
  5. X factor. Ung mga pumasa talaga, they really have something that you can’t explain. Aprub rin sila sa akin na sila ung mapanood ko na housemates or makakasama ko.
  6. Sa PBB, makikilala mo kung sino ang ‘makapal ang mukha’, ‘pa-cute’ and ‘buo ang loob’. (Luckily, meron akong nyang lahat!

It was almost 2pm when I was so close to the room that I’m already hearing the questions of the panel. 1 random hypothetical question was given per batch.

  1. Sinong teleserye character ka?
  2. Ano ang mas pipiliin mo: Buhok sa kilikili or buhok sa ilong?
  3. Ano ang kakaibang nangyari sa iyo kahapon?

I was up to the challenge. Add kalokohan and world peace lang yan sa mga answers.

From the moment you walk in the stage, you stand, you talk and you act, they were already judging you. Direk would sometimes went out the room and took note of our numbers. Mga napipisil n’ya in short.

Weeh. It’s my turn and was first among the batch.

And the killer question is… No, its not a killer task!

To be continued.
