I am ready to shift my career to the next gear. Friends, I recently stepped on the pedal to sell Honda cars. So for those who are interested, especially yuppies like me who wants to drive our own cars and not dad’s anymore, here’s the list and terms of computation of Honda cars we offer.
I’ll tell you how to own a brand new car for only P10,000 a month. Get ready to know the power to dream.
Let’s take a look on Honda Jazz. My friend asked quotation on this model. Lucky for him and for others that are willing to wait, there’s an upcoming model for Honda Jazz to be officially launched on the Philippines this September. UPDATE: The All New Honda Jazz (2009 Model) is now in the Philippines. The present model costs P650,000. On September, the new Jazz is just P700,000 and plays only up to P800,000 depending on the variants. UPDATE: Check the price and specifications here.
For all Honda cars, the minimum downpayment is 20% of the selling price while the maximum number of months to pay is 60 months or 5 years. That means, you will shell out P130,000 plus the fees like LTO registration (P6,150), a good insurance (P22,700 but varies depending on your liking) and if you decide that a bank will finance the remaining balance, there’s a P20,000 fee . Summing it up, the first cash out is P178,850 – all in. Honda Kalookan will help you in finding a financing bank that will approve these conditions. That’s another ease.
60-month term of payment is now equal to P10,829 a month. Another good news – you can reserve a 2009 Honda Jazz now for P25,000. Honda Jazz comes in tafetta white, cerulean blue, rallye red, crystal black, alabaster silver for 1.3 and silverstone for 1.5.
Ok, after we dance Jazz. Here are the other popular Honda cars and their corresponding prices:
CITY
P575,000 1.3A M/T
P625,000 1.3S M/T
P665,000 1.3S A/T
P705,000 1.5V VTEC M/T
P745,000 1.5V VTEC A/T
CIVIC
P810,000 1.8V M/T
P850,000 1.8V A/T
P860,000 1.8S M/T
P899,000 1.8S A/T
There are freebies and complimentary items and services included. If your trip is to drive Accord or CR-V, it is available as well. For 2nd hand cars deal, my contact has another contact (like a second-degree contact of mine, third-degree contact of yours). I wouldn’t risk my ‘beginner’s luck’ here on that setting much but that doesn’t stop you to buy one or two. Just let us know.
You can also refer us your company (preferably your HR-Purchasing department) if it decides to have a corporate plan for its employees. Corporate package means discounts.

It’s been really a while since I wrote a post on my blog. We usually call these times as tough and busy yet I’m happily enjoying almost every hour of my work-life balanced days.
To bring my blog a life again, here’s an “atin-atin na lamang na” experience to tell. It happened last week, when the fare is P1.50 lower than today’s, as I was on my way to UP for my masters studies.
The jeepney stopped at Philcoa to load passengers. I noticed a familiar face approaching the Pantranco jeep. She’s one of my Physics blockmates, the kalog-est perhaps in the batch. Trivia: I started at UP as a non-quota BS Physics student and after a year I decided to shift to Computer Science as my calling. I was eager to greet her and waited her to be seated. She was with a not familiar guy. After we had an eye contact, (she was sitting just across me), I smiled to her. She smiled back.
‘San ka?’, I asked.
‘Uwi na’. She replied.
‘Kumusta Physics, nag-te-take ka din ba ng Masters this semester?’
‘Ah hindi. Ikaw, san ka ngayon? Uwi ka rin?’ And her eyes pointed to my bag (no, it’s luggage). I was carrying a big ‘pang-uwing probinsya’ bag because I decided to go to Bulacan that night.
‘Ah hindi. Pasok ako sa masters ko.’
Then, we were asking and answering each others kumustahan questions but we could hardly hear the replies because of the noise which the jeep and other vehicles produced.
‘Sorry, ano nga ulit yung name mo?’
‘Jonas’
As I looked on her closer, I got hold of a feeling that she’s NOT my blockmate that I was thinking earlier. So I minimize my words.
And she popped, ‘Alam mo, hindi ko matandaan kung saan tayo naging mag-classmate pero familiar ka sa akin.’
Indeed, a mistaken identity. Wala na ‘to! I wanted to reply ‘huwag mo nang isipin kung saan dahil hindi talaga tayo magkakilala’ but instead I responded ‘baka naman sa isang GE (general education or minor subjects) class?’
‘Hindi rin eh. Eng(lish) 10 lang class ko this semester’.
She’s a freshie! Walang lusot! Pakshet! I’ve even given my real name with no exchange of hers!
She kept inquiring. ‘Taga-molave ka ba?’ Molave is one of the dormitories inside the campus.
‘Ah hindi.’ I think she associated my bag holding a new set of clothes of the week that I will use at Molave dormitory.
Good thing though that she’s with a friend so at some point our conversation was cut.
I simply wanted to escape but Faculty Center was still some meters away. I did not remember if I say goodbye or two to her. I don’t care about that gesture for her friend might share his opinion that it was a plain case of mistaken identity.
As I walk from FC to CS (the track students take from Palma Hall to Math Building), I pondered. Am I…
What do you think about that? A, B or C.
P.S. I was supposedly an hour late to my class. And there it went, no class. Then, it rained cats and dogs as I left the building.

Finally, I got to watch the #1 movie in my wanted list this June and July. It’s Wanted starring Angelina Jolie and the guy who until now I still know only by the first Narnia movie. Any Jolie movie with guns and cars is a priority to watch. She seems to act effortlessly on action scenes and chases. Thus, I ended up hooked to her.
I received good and appreciative movie ratings on Wanted from my friends and fellow bloggers. It must be really good then. So I expect more than what is showcased on the trailer. Blast and bang wise, the movie did not fail me even laws of physics fail. Yet, the plot and the climax is predictable. Wanted is Bourne meets Minority Report wherein like Bourne, Gibson (James McAvoy) find himself through matching pieces of death-defyung clues and not by the easy help of Google – and like the Minority Report that searches and brings down villains of the world ahead of time. But how A.J. accepted the truth twisted me.
It was supposedly a de-stressing movie but it stressed me as the post-movie analysis syndrome attacked. It’s not a feel good movie but definitely a good one.
To continue pampering myself, I played arcade games at the Timezone across the cinemas and spent the credits I loaded. 300 credits for a prize of 200 is cheap. And guess what, after some few swipes, I received 87 tickets as jackpot after capturing a running light in a roulette game and a Mario stuffed toy from a stacker game. Both games require timing and in Wanted movie, instinct plays a role. I suddenly feel that I have what it takes to be part of the fraternity.
And that was the fcuk I’ve done lately!

I am taking up two MSCS subjects this semester. One of which is CS240. It deals with Theory of Computation and is a sequel of an undergraduate course, CS133 or Automata Theory. The first set of lectures is a recap of the latter.
One of my classmates is my byte, UP Cursor term for a senior buddy. We reminisce the good old days of color-coded “yellow” pad-long problem sets of Ma’m Becca. We listed alphabets and strings and drew concentric circles, pumping stacks and parse trees. Yet, at some “state”, we cannot “recognize the language” our teacher speaks of. Furthermore, this seasons comes Greek to me as the notations with inverted letter ‘A’ and letter ‘E’ hunt me. They are not aesthetically nice at least, for me.
I need to purchase Sipser’s book so I can review such topics. Just like what our instructor’s line, “Magagalit ang Panginoon” if I forgot CS 133. I learned from Kaye that Sir Henry, our teacher, gives 4-item examination. I fear that he will ask us to prove or disprove something. It’s all or nothing. It’s like that you really know or you don’t know. In 3 weeks time, the dreaded midterms examination will come.
As of now, I’m enjoying while learning so to voluntary exit is not my type. I’m living in a teleserye ng automaton na buhay. This is PDA: Push Down Automata Season 2.
