Recently I discovered three stuff that eventually become my favorite.

The first one is the Starbucks Espresso Brownie. It costs five times than the usual air-filled Lemon Square brownie. Pero sulit! I have to nibble the brownie little by little for prolonged satisfaction. It replaced my cravings for the almost the same priced Red Ribbon chocolate mousse. I pair Starbucks Espresso Brownie with any frappucino in the coffee house.

While searching for a substitute for high cost coffee drinks, I went crazy for McDonald’s Sundae Icemix Creamy Corn, their version of Jollibee’s Ice Craze. They put more corn syrup and kernel bits on the cup mixed with ice and with the magic ingredient, ,McDonald’s vanilla ice cream. Their ice cream is better than Jollibee’s in the first place so that’s a plus fact and factor why I choose McDo nowadays over Jollibee’s.

Also, I saw how they prepare the dessert. I can see how they crush the ice on the spot with a machine unlike with Jollibee which is pail-fetched straight from their Coleman. Although you can still argue that they’re same ice.

My latest discovery is not a food but an application, a web browser to be exact. It’s Avant Browser. Although not powerful as Mozilla Firefox, it is my alternative to Internet Explorer. Avant is a multitabs capable Internet Explorer. It overrides IE and can display several IE pages in one window.

I could switch to IE 7 provided by Yahoo! instead of using Avant. But I’m refurbishing my site and the target is to be a cross-browser one. Yahoo! would replace my non-W3 compliant IE version. Having it replaced would mean that I have no simple way to check on how my css and html files look like in both browser.

Another cool feature of Avant is the ability to store the previous sessions which is also present in Mozilla Firefox. However, you have more control with Avant because you can select those recent sessions you want to be reloaded. Although, this Firefox and Avant feature can be annoying sometimes.

Speaking of refurbish, I am an addict now on straight edges. You’ll see no rounded corners… soon.
